This episode is called Where Did All The Rhymes Go?

In this story, a young bee notices all the rhymes have gone missing. Can you help her find them? Whenever something doesn’t rhyme, shout out the correct word. The louder the better!

Bee buzzed about
From flower to flower.
He had to be quick
He had only sixty minutes

Till the petals would say,
“Good night” to the sun,
But the busy bee’s work
Was only half completed.

For now, it was time
To make honey all night.
Bee knew what to do
And he did it just fine.

But something felt strange
On that bright sunny day.
It just didn’t flow
In the usual manner.

So Bee went to Bird
To ask what was wrong.
To answer she sang
A sweet little melody.

The rhymes are all gone
We must speak in prose.
What happened to them
I’m afraid no one understands.

So Bee went to Crane
Who was quite the dancer,
He was pretty sure
That he’d know the solution.

Does it matter? Said Crane,
As he flipped and he spun.
Must things always rhyme
For them to be enjoyable.

So Bee thought real hard
About Crane’s advice.
Without any rhymes
The day had been pleasant.

Rhymes didn’t matter.
Bee agreed with his friend.
What’s important is a story’s
Beginning
Middle
and conclusion.

I hope you enjoyed this episode. Did you shout out all the correct rhymes? Did you think of more than one? If so, send me a message on Facebook. I’d love to hear what you came up with. You may also enjoy my picture book, Lost Hallway, Where do Lost Things Go. Now available on Amazon. Not to worry, all the rhymes are still there – I think. See you next time.
