This episode is called, Shadow of Doubt

I don’t know what I’m doing.
I really haven’t a clue.
Some say that I'm an expert
But no, that isn’t true.

My friends all think I’m perfect.
In truth, I’m deeply flawed.
And scared that people around me
Will discover I’m a fraud.

But wait, I know that voice.
Those are the words of Doubt.
Why must you always bother me?
I wish you’d just get out!

You sit there on my shoulder,
And whisper in my ear,
That I am undeserving,
That failure is always near.

But then I hear another voice,
From the opposite side,
That says I am deserving.
That I should burst with pride.

That’s the voice of Confidence.
It makes me stand up tall.
It says I can do anything,
Yes, anything at all.

But Doubt can be quite crafty.
In shadow, it will wait,
And when I least suspect it
Will tell me I’m not great.

Thank goodness Confidence
Has been there since my birth.
It fights my Doubt everyday
And reminds me what I’m worth.
