This episode is called Christmas Breakfast

I’m making Christmas Breakfast
For my mom and dad.
It will be the greatest breakfast
That they have even had.

I’ll start them off with pancakes,
Waffles and a crepe.
I’ll top it off with peaches,
And a single grape.

Next, they’ll have eggs benedict,
Drowned in hollandaise.
Then 10 slices of bacon.
They will be amazed!

Toad in the hole, cheesy grits,
Hash brown and French Toast,
Sausages and a ham steak;
Things they love the most.

They’ll never eat another meal.
That will be my goal.
But to be on the safe side,
I’ll bake a cinnamon roll.

But wait there’s just one problem.
Well, maybe three or four.
I’m too young to use the stove,
Or open the oven door!

I’m not allowed to use a knife,
Oh, what am I to do?
I guess instead I’ll make them
A bowl of cereal. For two.

I hope you enjoyed this episode. If you did, please check out my picture book, Lost Hallway: Where Do Lost Things Go, now available on Amazon. It’s a magical tale of a young boy who discovers a world that contains all lost things. You can learn more at storiesbypeter.com

See you next time and Happy Holidays!
